Trinity - Bind 1 (Danish Edition)

Leon Uris’ epic novel "Trinity" unfolds in 19th century Ireland, where the population struggles to survive the famine and in the fight for freedom against England. We follow childhood friends Seamus and Conor as they experience their homeland's development from different perspectives: Seamus from a college in Belfast and Conor from the poor, turbulent town of Bogside. When Conor witnesses his country’s unjust fate in Bogside, he decides to resist. Along with a group of like-minded individuals, he forms a secret brotherhood that will play a significant role in the fight against the British.

The American author Leon Uris (1924-2003) wrote a series of popular historical novels, several of which were adapted into films. Uris drew inspiration from his own Jewish family history and his experience as a soldier during World War II, but he was also known for conducting extensive external research for his books - for example, he interviewed more than 1,500 people for the best-selling novel Exodus.
